A unique mentoring project that brings together the inner-city children of Somers Town, London with volunteer theatre professionals to create original theatre. This is an evening of short plays performed by professional actors who volunteer their time and talents to Scene & Heard.

Playmaking One is our first course for children aged 9-11. They each write their own play for public performance. The Sporty Plays are written by:

Mariyah Ahmed, Farhin Ahmed, Maddie Buss, Layla James, Mirza Karagoz, Umair Mahmud, Nabila Morris, Teigan Ngumbu, Tiarra Ofosu and Zara Qurashi

Ticket Information:

  • Seating is unreserved. Please collect tickets 20 minutes before the start. Any tickets not collected by that time will be released to the waiting list.

  • The performance will last approximately 2 hours including an interval.

Getting Here:

  • The performances are at Theatro Technis, 26 Crowndale Road, NW1 1TT

  • 5 minute walk from Mornington Crescent station or a 10 minute walk from King’s Cross/St. Pancras station.
