Set Ready

Whittington Park Community Centre in Islington

A free two day training course for ages 18+ who want to get into the film industry. Once the training has been completed, trainees will have the opportunity to put themselves forward for entry-level paid Location Marshal placements in large-scale film/TV productions across the boroughs.

The Page One scheme has helped participants get started with a career in publishing. It is intended to work as a stepping stone, to give an idea of what it’s like to work in the publishing industry and advice on the best ways to move forward. There are many types of Work Experience opportunities at Scene & Heard including; costumes, props lighting and sound, front of house, supporting playwriting weekends, and supporting the Scene & Heard team in the office.
